Job summary

CPS Inc., a specialty chemical company in northern Wisconsin near Green Bay, is seeking a Process Project Engineer to provide process support and technical expertise to improve production quality and reliability. The role involves leading capital projects from small ($1MM), designing and installing equipment, developing PFDs & P&IDs, and training operators.

You will collaborate with maintenance, safety, and operations to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize batch times.

Qualifications

• B.S. Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in chemical plant/production.
• Experience with PSM regulatory facilities ideal.
• Strong ROI and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train operators and lead small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and installation of equipment for start-ups.
• Manage capital projects from <$10k to >$1MM.
• Provide process support to improve batch times and yield.
• Create PFDs and P&IDs; develop SOPs.
• Train operators and plant personnel.
• Attend engineering/maintenance meetings; track KPIs.
