Job summary

Primient is seeking a Process Engineer to support the smooth operation of plant areas through troubleshooting, process optimization, and project execution. You will lead improvements in energy use, waste reduction, and production efficiency while coordinating with engineering, operations, and technical teams.

The role advances through the Engineering Technical Track (Engineer 1 to Principal Engineer) and requires a BS in Chemical or Bio Engineering, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, and

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Bio Engineering or related field from ABET accredited institution (required).
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement (preferred).
• Certification in Root cause analysis (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process Ownership & Optimization: Own multiple unit operations, improve energy use, and minimize waste.
• Engineering Assignments & Project Management: Lead studies, system optimizations, and capital projects from scope to implementation.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate process upsets and perform RCA to improve reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with equipment SMEs, procurement, vendors, and engineers across sites.
