You will grow process expertise within a plant operating unit, lead capital projects from concept to startup, provide technical support to maintenance and operations, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related discipline.
• Process improvement experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot process and equipment.
• Experience implementing capital projects/permits in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of corn wet milling process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations groups, including process studies and data analysis.
• Lead projects up to $500K and manage contractors.
• Implement capital permits, projects, and engineering studies to achieve plant goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with safety to design safer processes.
• Identify and initiate capital projects with 1–2 year timelines.
• Conduct process training and maintain project documentation.
• Stay current with technologies to improve process efficiency.
