Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Tennessee plant. The role focuses on improving material flow, optimizing staffing, and supporting Lean initiatives across the plant.

You will conduct time studies, maintain Excel-based tracking and collaborate with production leadership to implement efficient routes and layouts. Strong Excel skills and automotive industry familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or Industrial Engineer.
• Experience in automotive industry preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and VBA familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Material Execution by studying material delivery routes.
• Calculate driver labor requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve material flow efficiency.
• Partner with plant Industrial Engineering, Material, and Production leadership to keep staffing and route data current.
• Model staffing and material flow for new or revised layouts.
• Keep route, volume, and container data current as production schedules, part numbers, or layouts change.
