Job summary

Optimal is seeking an LMS Process Engineer to optimize material storage and movement across our Tennessee manufacturing facility. You will oversee end-to-end flow from receiving to shipping, design layouts, assess storage needs, and deploy equipment like ASRS and AGV/AMR while collaborating with CME Execution and Plant Launch teams.

A BS in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain, plus hands-on project leadership and PFMEA/simulation experience, are preferred to drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

  • Experience designing, procuring, building, installing and debugging material movement equipment.
  • Experience managing OEMs, including program management and forecasts.
  • Project lead experience coordinating resources and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input in PFEP process and participate across material flow projects.
  • Calculate storage needs including racking and floor space.
  • Design and procure material movement and storage equipment (ASRS, AGV/AMR).
  • Develop strategies for storage/movement and map Material Flow Layout.
  • Analyze material flow and congestion and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with CME Execution and Plant Launch Teams.
