Job summary

Insight Global in Spring Hill, TN seeks a Materials Execution Engineer to optimize material handling in General Assembly. Focus on material flow, kitting and sequencing, and line-side delivery strategies to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will work with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and IT to support current production and new vehicle launches through layout development, PFEP ownership, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of process, industrial, and manufacturing engineering in fast-paced manufacturing.
Experience supporting layout reviews and analysis.
Kitting and sequencing experience.
Material transformation, including technology, flow, and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

Analyze and implement process improvements for material handling in General Assembly.
Develop and optimize kitting and sequencing strategies to ensure correct parts delivery.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Support facility layout reviews and workstations to improve line-side presentation.
Lead material flow optimization projects and develop future-state automated solutions.
Maintain PFEP documentation to support efficient storage, transport, and delivery.
Collaborate with manufacturing, product engineering, logistics, and IT for integration of new tech.
Analyze production data and material trends to identify improvements.
Support vehicle launch activities ensuring material flow meets targets.
Coordinate with plant engineering, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive projects.
