Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to optimize material movement from warehouse to point of use in a high-volume automotive environment. You will apply lean principles, design layouts, and collaborate across functions to drive on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with material flow systems, ERP and CAD tools, and strong project management and communication skills to lead multi-discipline initiatives.

Qualifications

  • The job requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3+ years in material flow or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with project management ability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation and optimization of material flow from warehouse to point of use using lean principles.
  • Review, develop, and implement lineside replenishment systems (eKanban) with IT for automation.
  • Maintain layouts to optimize warehouse and production floor space.
  • Lead pull systems with balanced inventory at each point of use.
  • Manage material handling equipment from procurement to deployment (forklifts, tuggers, AGVs/AGCs, carts, racks, low-cost automation).
