Job summary
Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Process Engineer to extend management with a strong focus on safety, product quality, and LEAN-driven productivity improvements. The role emphasizes floor-time, developing systems to meet customer specs, and leading preventative maintenance and capital projects.
The engineer acts as the resident expert on process technology, driving on-site improvements, and coordinating with maintenance and production teams to ensure reliable, compliant operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in specified engineering fields (ABET-accredited).
- Six months or more PLC, mechanical, or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
- Ability to understand process variance and apply statistics.
Responsibilities
- Perform continuous improvement safety walks.
- Lead with shift supervisors to run the facility.
- Identify safety issues and communicate resolutions.
- Develop standard work and engineer improvements.
- Improve productivity and reduce waste on the line.
- Support maintenance and capital improvement planning.
