Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., seeks a Process Engineer to support plant operations, improve safety, quality and productivity, and work on the floor to drive lean initiatives. The role involves implementing new process technology, maintaining equipment, and contributing to capital improvement plans at the Cleveland, OH facility.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, PLC or packaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PLC experience or packaging process experience preferred.
• Experience with automated carton forming machines, palletizing cells, and/or filling equipment is a plus.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistics and problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership with shift supervisors; resolve safety issues and ensure compliance.
• Develop and execute standard work; monitor engineering boards and GEMBA walks.
• Maximize equipment efficiency and product quality; investigate root causes to prevent customer issues.
• Involvement in preventative maintenance programs and capital improvement planning.
