Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of related experience within process engineering.
• 3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, TPS.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Self-starter with urgency; detail-oriented with plant floor layout experience.
• Ability to lead brainstorming, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to design machinery components for existing equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations as needed.
• Study organization charts and project information to define functions and responsibilities.
• Establish work measurement programs and develop standards for labor utilization.
• Develop standardized work instructions.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data to improve efficiency.
• Suggest methods to improve team efficiency and reduce material waste.
• Consult with management and engineering to implement plans.
• May supervise Process Specialists in the department.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
