Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington is seeking a Process Engineer in the United States (Ohio) to optimize manufacturing processes in collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. You will drive continuous improvement and support new model launches, training, and SOP development.

Your role focuses on improving process capability, implementing Lean/CI methods, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2 years experience (or AAS with 4 years).
• Ability to coach operators and technicians.
• Knowledge of prints, SPC, pressure gauges, and monitoring devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and teamwork.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to apply inferential and deductive reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Support new model launches and evaluate materials/equipment.
• Develop process documentation and monitor process capability.
• Train team members on SOPs and CI methods.
• Participate in process improvement to reduce waste and improve safety.
• Set up systems and train SPC usage.
• Coordinate testing of new materials.
• Ensure processes meet customer, quality, cost, safety requirements.
• Adhere to safety rules.
