Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies Ohio Payroll, LLC is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement procedures for processing, assembling, testing, and manufacturing. The role focuses on defining process parameters to meet customer specs and creating production documentation.

You will participate in design and tooling approvals, manage new product item tracking, and coordinate vendor tryouts. Strong lean skills and CAD/office software proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement procedures for processing, assembling, testing, and manufacturing of Teijin’s products.
• Define production process parameters to ensure product compliance with customer specifications.
• Create documentation for production support and data collection.
• Participate in the approval of new product designs, tooling, and processes for production.
• Maintain an open-items tracking system for new products.
• Attend and coordinate tooling tryouts at vendors and the manufacturing facility.
• Assist in obtaining PSW approvals for new products.
• Continuously improve processes using synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance labor efficiency and quality.
• Apply computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a professional, objective, and collaborative demeanor and actively participate in team projects.
