Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Medford, WI is seeking an engineer to support continuous improvement and new product development for our production teams. You will focus on process information improvements, layout design, and material handling, collaborating with design engineering and manufacturing to enhance window and door fabrication.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree, 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong project management, and proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred (mechanical/manufacturing or related).
• 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing with preference for fenestration industry.
• Strong project management skills; excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for continuous improvement and new product development in production processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineering and production to improve methods for window and door manufacturing; layout and material handling improvements.
• Provide additional support as required.
