Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production, product development and quality at our Medford, WI facility. This role collaborates with production, design engineering, customer service and sales to improve processes and equipment, with a focus on fenestration-related production.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred (mechanical, manufacturing, or related)
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Technical/mechanical abilities and understanding of window/door production a plus
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for continuous improvement and new product development for production processes.
• Coordinate equipment installation, modification, etc., and assist with problem solving.
• Integration of processes across multiple facilities; design and acquisition of fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
