Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturing partner, seeks a Process Engineer in Reno, NV to support production floor operations, develop SOPs, and drive process improvements for server assembly and rack integration.

The role focuses on PFMEA, MPIs, ECO/ECN management, and lean manufacturing practices, with 4+ years’ experience and a engineering degree. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Industrial or Mechanical).
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement mindset.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and standard product development processes.
• Knowledge of DFx; PFMEA and Six Sigma is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical floor support to resolve equipment/process issues.
• Create, validate, and document manufacturing processes (SOPs).
• Develop and maintain PFMEA and MPIs for server assembly and rack integration.
• Investigate operational problems and drive corrective actions.
• Lead ECO/ECN/MCO/PA/Deviation handling on live lines.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) and validation before mass production.
• Collaborate with QE/TE/PM for quality objectives alignment.
