Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement and sustain manufacturing processes ensuring safe, high-quality, cost-effective production. You will support powder processing equipment such as spray dryers, tablet presses, blenders and more, troubleshoot issues, and lead improvement projects to boost efficiency and reliability.

Requirements include a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree, proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, MS Office and MS Project, plus strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, Microsoft Office, and MS Project.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, including 8D methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Leading2Lean or equivalent systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, strong electrical troubleshooting, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production.
  • Provide engineering support for powder processing equipment, including spray dryers, tablet presses, blenders, mixers, mills, sieves, filters, and hoppers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production process and equipment issues to ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Lead facility and process improvement projects, including equipment upgrades and renovations to increase efficiency, capacity, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to apply DOE and SPC and implement automation solutions.
