Job summary

Suncast Corporation, based in Illinois, seeks a Process Engineer to own injection molding processes and product enhancements. You will collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams across the plant floor and office to drive successful launches and continuous improvement.

The role requires CAD literacy, data‑driven problem solving, and strong knowledge of injection molding. A Bachelor’s or related certification with experience and a commitment to safety and quality is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in plastics technology or chemical engineering preferred.
• Associate’s degree or certification with 2+ years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's.
• Injection molding knowledge is required.
• Process Technician experience preferred; Process Engineer experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Paulson Training is a plus.
• Ability to read CAD 2-D and 3-D drawings.
• Must be data driven, scientifically minded, and capable of multi‑perspective problem solving.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Input on new product designs using knowledge to support production.
• Document and report findings from new product launches and enhancements.
• Lead cross‑functional meetings to share knowledge and boost productivity.
• Follow product launches from design to production.
• Use data to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
