Suncast Corporation in Illinois is seeking a Process Technician on 2nd or 3rd shift to run injection and blow molding equipment. You will manage 10–15 machines, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while collaborating with management to optimize operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of process control and mechanical principles, and the ability to read technical documents; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in this position.
• Knowledge of basic process control and mechanical principles.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate/maintain instructions; write routine reports.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to learn Windows-based programs and enter data.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection and blow molding machines to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Communicate with managers and coworkers on quality, safety, and productivity issues.
• Coordinate with molding labor leadership for machine and labor utilization.
• Recommend changes to improve production methods and equipment performance.
• Report machine and equipment malfunctions to support personnel.
• Provide training and guidance to the material handler on presses.
• Stay informed of new technology, methods, and materials for this position.
• Learn in-house programs for BOM and shop order detail.
• Perform minor maintenance and setup functions to assist in job setups.
• Pass a test for LOTO and follow all safety procedures.
• Support and practice all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping.
