Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and over 2 years Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional problem-solving teams.
• Ability to design and conduct experiments and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Learn and retain working knowledge of company initiatives, processes, laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
• Work with operators to learn capabilities and identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, procedures, quality, and safety.
• Evaluate all processes to identify opportunities to improve product uniformity and reduce non-value-added steps.
• Develop and monitor standard operating procedures and process standards with manufacturing.
• Lead cost reduction and process improvement projects using DMAIC, DOE, and SPC.
