Interface Americas, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer II to identify and lead improvement projects across manufacturing. You will guide multi‑disciplinary teams, apply Six Sigma and Lean methods, and drive cost reductions while aligning with company sustainability goals.

This role blends hands-on execution with data-driven engineering to enhance process capability. Applicants should have a BS in engineering and 2+ years in process/manufacturing engineering.

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering with 2+ years in Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong communication at all levels from floor to management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional problem-solving teams.
• Solid knowledge of process engineering and material properties.
• Experience documenting manufacturing routings, task descriptions, and work centers.
• Exposure to project costing and cost reduction initiatives.
• Solid Six Sigma and Lean toolset understanding (DMAIC, DOE, FMEA, SPC, etc.).
• Ability to design/interpret experiments and analyze data.
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and process mapping tools.

Responsabilidades

• Identify improvement opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to improve processes, reduce costs, and implement new manufacturing methods.
• Develop, document, train, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to maintain procedures and standards.
• Analyze quality data to pinpoint root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering to plan projects, estimate costs, and conduct financial analyses.
• Produce project charters and lead cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of projects, trials, and support data.
