Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Process Engineer II to join our Engineering & Quality team at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters. You will drive process development, equipment validation, and lean manufacturing initiatives, working onsite five days a week and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will implement 5S concepts, analyze root causes, and push for efficiency, quality, and safety improvements across Collectors’ facilities. Occasional travel to vendors may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-year mechanical/manufacturing engineering degree required.
• 1–2 years in high-volume manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Experience with 5S, Lean, JIT or Kaizen.
• Experience working with equipment vendors and suppliers.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or similar skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement more efficient, stable, high-quality processes with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and stabilize existing processes.
• Validate and implement equipment with cross-functional groups.
• Prepare and deliver engineering presentations.
• Document process steps for standardization.
