Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Pasadena office. You will design less complex process engineering tasks and assist with larger projects under supervision, contributing to safe, cost-effective solutions.

The role involves developing layouts, performing calculations, and supporting drafting. A background in chemical/mechanical/biochemical/petroleum engineering is required, with EIT preferred and PE eligibility advantageous. Travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• EIT registration preferred; PE certification preferred on eligibility.
• Requires 1+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical/process design.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of less complex process engineering assignments.
• Assist in developing conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce preliminary estimations and material take-offs for project estimates.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Consult with design leaders to ensure smooth information flow and timely completion.
• Travel as required for on-site work, meetings or training.

Education

Bachelor or Master in Chemical/Mechanical/Biochemical/Petroleum Engineering

EIT preferred

Professional Engineering preferred on eligibility

1+ years industrial experience
