Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. is seeking a process engineer with 1+ years of experience to contribute to the design of chemical and biochemical processes. You will assist in both small-scale design tasks and larger projects, collaborating closely with discipline leads and drafting teams.

The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and efficient construction, with opportunities for fieldwork and client interactions. A Bachelor or Master in engineering is required, and EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS or MS in an engineering discipline with 1+ years in process design.
• EIT registration preferred; PE/CPIP not mandatory at hire.
• Proficient with process simulation tools and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of less complex process engineering tasks under supervision.
• Assist in larger projects and ensure designs meet codes and client expectations.
• Prepare preliminary designs, material takeoffs, and construction drawings.
• Support field data collection and vendor drawing reviews.
• Coordinate with discipline leaders and drafting teams to ensure timely delivery.
