Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• 1+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical/process design engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with process simulation and CAD tools, plus basic process safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design of less complex process engineering tasks and assist on larger projects under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Check calculations for conformance to codes and design criteria.
• Support field data gathering, tie-ins, and construction site activities.
• Coordinate with lead engineers and design leaders to ensure timely project delivery.
