Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking a Process Engineer II to lead process improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, new material introductions, and model validation. You will develop strategies, manage resources, and optimize processes within a battery manufacturing environment.

Role requires 2–4 years of engineering experience, strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills, and the ability to work across manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar (preferred).
• 2–4 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to train operators on new or revised processes/instructions.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Improve defect rate and process efficiency through data-driven projects.
• Develop and implement process strategies; manage resources and improve current processes.
• Coordinate with engineering/maintenance/quality to deploy countermeasures on the production floor.
• Lead problem solving using root cause analysis and structured methods.
• Support new model conversion, line setup, and productivity improvements.
