Job summary

Sabert is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize plastic manufacturing processes, boost efficiency, and reduce costs. You will partner with production, engineering, and leadership to troubleshoot issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, high-quality operations.

You will drive root cause investigations, standardize procedures, and train teams while contributing to cost reductions and capacity improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/industrial/ mechanical engineering or related field.
3–5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience, preferably in plastics.
Experience leading process improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Proficiency with SolidWorks for process layout and trials.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and quality.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production and engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues with root-cause analyses.
Standardize operating procedures and monitor performance with metrics.
Evaluate equipment capabilities and recommend improvements.
Train personnel on processes, procedures, and best practices.
Support customer certifications and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations as needed.
