Job summary

Sabert Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team. You will drive process improvements, enhance equipment reliability, and improve product quality and throughput across manufacturing lines.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, support production operations, analyze processes, and partner with maintenance and suppliers to implement cost-saving upgrades while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Experience in a plastics processing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain process standards to maximize quality and production efficiency.
• Analyze processes and perform capability studies to improve stability and performance.
• Investigate issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost savings.
• Support equipment reliability with maintenance coordination and upgrades.
• Evaluate automation opportunities to improve throughput and performance.
• Collaborate with vendors to source components and identify cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain process flow documentation and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Adhere to company policies on safety, quality, legality, and regulatory compliance.
