Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Woburn, MA to maximize cost efficiency and reliability of manufacturing flow, processes, and equipment. You will determine sequences, ensure safety and quality standards, design fixtures, establish work statements, and lead equipment implementation projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, Lean manufacturing principles, and collaboration with division managers and operators to drive improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• 0–2+ years of practical process knowledge in elastomer, molding, or extrusion manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
• Must be hands-on, mechanically capable and able to work with automated measuring tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Mini Tab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles to areas of production.
• Identify and implement solutions for safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing problems through process analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Implement zero defect quality initiative for application across product line and individual processes.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by planning workflow, space, and equipment layout; coordinate cross-team inputs.
