Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) Switchgear Division is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer I to support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, products, and production methods.

You will serve as a key liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers to improve efficiency and product quality. The role emphasizes BOM/BOMF support, data structure optimization, and involvement in new product introductions, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-functional liaison between Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and methods, including production flow, assembly techniques, tooling, and equipment improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency.
• Resolve manufacturing challenges by investigating assembly and production issues and implementing solutions.
• Support Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Bills of Manufacture (BOMFs) for product/process improvements.
