Job summary

Momentive Technologies is seeking a Process Engineer at the Willoughby, OH site. You will lead manufacturing improvements for high-purity quartz products used in semiconductor applications, driving safety, quality, and cost efficiency while partnering with Operations and external vendors.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of initiating 5S and continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Materials, or Ceramics Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing role.
• Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude.
• Decisive and hands-on; energetic self-starter with strong leadership.
• Strong analytical and technical expertise with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Computer literacy – Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applications (SharePoint).
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership and engineering excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Engage workforce to improve safety and environmental performance.
• Establish and maintain production and maintenance procedures, control, and data.
• Assist in development of new products and processes.
• Interact with vendors for project implementation and proposals.
• Lead 5S and continuous improvement initiatives; problem solving.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and ensure stability.
• Ensure product quality through testing and supplier material review.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and operations for cost reduction.
