Momentive Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Process Development Engineer to drive the development of revolutionary high-temperature processes for quartz and ceramic products. You will lead cross‑functional teams, guide new product introductions, and scale processes from bench concepts to manufacturing readiness.

The role requires an advanced mechanical engineering degree, 5+ years of industry experience, and strong skills in high-temperature processing, DOE/STAT tools, and project management.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on industry experience.
• Expertise with high temperature processing equipment.
• Ability to translate designs into production equipment.
• Travel internationally ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop new quartz products and processes to meet new market demands.
• Lead new product introduction projects with cross‑functional teams and validation partners.
• Apply project management to planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Generate intellectual properties such as patents and internal reports.
• Provide manufacturing technical support for high‑temperature processing of ceramics and bonding.
• Apply Six Sigma, DOE, statistics and material characterization for process improvement.
