Job summary

DAP in Baltimore is seeking a Process Engineer to support raw materials, compounding, production and packaging, driving safety improvements and contributing to the MS 168 continuous improvement process.

You will troubleshoot processes, run experiments, lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, improve material utilization and first-pass yield, and help integrate new products and processes into production while updating drawings and SOPs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process.
• Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's).
• PLC with ladder logic analysis.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production, and packaging functions to improve safety and support MS 168 CI process.
• Production support through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements.
• Lead CI projects to reduce cost, improve material utilization, and first time right; integrate new products/processes and update drawings/SOPs.
