Gore seeks an experienced Process Engineer for the Cherry Hill facility in Elkton, MD, to support daily operations, improve processes, and qualify materials for fit-for-use products. You will work on equipment sustainment, CAPA initiatives, and lifecycle optimization within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities include DoE/SPC-based experiments, parameter control, risk assessments, and mentoring others, with medical/dental/vision benefits starting Day 1 and a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 3+ years hands-on manufacturing experience
• Experience documenting and communicating work effectively
• Apply engineering fundamentals and statistical tools to development and troubleshooting
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines across functions
• Independent work style with strong teamwork and cross-functional influence
• Identify critical issues and perform risk-based decisions
• Willingness to travel up to 5%

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to support daily operations, equipment sustainment, and maintain a reliable supply chain
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, materials, and product issues using structured root cause analysis; develop and implement CAPA
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis, considering safety, quality, cost, ergonomics, and environmental performance
• Monitor and control critical process parameters to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements
• Design and execute experiments using DoE and SPC to develop, optimize, and validate processes
• Lead and support process and equipment initiatives across lifecycle, including Innovation scale-up and validation
• Develop, document, and communicate technical plans, risk assessments, procedures, and results per quality system
• Apply disciplined project management practices with coaching and mentorship
• Pursue ongoing engineering development through formal Gore training and leadership support
