Job summary

GrafTech International's Seadrift Coke L.P. unit seeks a Process Engineer to provide technical leadership for safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, preferably Chemical or Petroleum.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain and demonstrate practical chemical engineering principles.
• Understanding and use of Historian type programs and OSIsoft PI.
• 4–8 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process reporting tools, dashboards, and improvement tracking systems.
• Design and manage quality assurance systems, including ISO 9000 compliance and sampling.
• Track and maintain key process variables and respond to deviations.
• Lead root cause analyses and develop effective countermeasures.
• Ensure data integrity of process and product databases and improve traceability.
• Provide process engineering input during project scoping and design phases.
• Train cross-functional teams on best practices and local work standards.
