Job summary

TPC Group is seeking a Production Engineer to provide engineering support for a designated set of products, collaborating across design, process, and reliability teams to improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and environmental performance. The role requires handling KPIs and process safety considerations while maintaining DCS data and contributing to PSM programs.

The engineer will lead investigations, support outages, and help ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements,

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) is required.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours support including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering support for a specific product or group of products.
  • Collaborates with design, process, process improvement, and reliability engineering to solve problems.
  • Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of engineering work.
  • Monitors unit performance by tracking KPIs and KOPs and reporting results.
  • Drives unit performance to optimize asset capability and production targets.
  • Supports commissioning and inspection activities during outages for the unit.
  • Communicates technical information and issues to plant personnel.
  • Identifies and evaluates EH&S risks and participates in PHA and MOC processes.
  • Supports regulatory compliance and emission calculations within responsibility.
