Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of process engineering experience in coating or bonding operations.
• 2+ years with FANUC automated closure cell systems (hoods/doors/liftgates).
• Experience optimizing manufacturing processes with focus on quality, efficiency and safety.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, validate, and optimize coating and bonding processes to improve throughput, quality, and reliability.
• Develop and implement systems to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze manufacturing data and run process simulations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions to support operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
• Provide technical guidance to production teams and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Support equipment commissioning, process validation, and production launches.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance; develop safe work procedures.
• Create and maintain process documentation, control plans, and operating procedures.
