Job summary

Vybond is a global market leader in pressure-sensitive adhesives, headquartered in Franklin, KY. We seek a Process Engineer to manage CIP projects, lead process improvements, and drive quality through SPC-driven metrics.

You will work under the Engineering Manager in Franklin, KY, applying Six Sigma principles and DMAIC methods to reduce variability and improve efficiency across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline.
• 3+ years in engineering in a related industry.
• Strong leadership, people and communications skills.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Experience and understanding of CIP and SPC; Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, control and prioritize a CIP list for the assigned area.
• Lead CIP activities for the assigned area.
• Control SPI documents to ensure currency and alignment with BOMs.
• Baseline and monitor critical process parameters (run charts, control charts).
• Lead actions to eliminate special causes.
• Identify and lead cost saving projects using DMAIC methodology.
• Manage related process documents and ensure currency.
• Provide process support for trials.
• Support root cause analysis of quality complaints.
