Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Process Engineer in Greenfield, IN to reduce product and process variation using Six Sigma and statistical tools. You will implement or improve procedures and controls, supporting safety and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include optimizing processes, supporting new product launches with marketing, and partnering with vendors to set material specifications. Strong engineering background and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of plant engineering experience.
• Six Sigma experience is highly desired.
• Experience in process optimization, web handling, coating, and SPC or related quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize current products to reduce variability.
• Provide daily engineering support for manufacturing issues and maintain equipment reliability.
• Plan and execute equipment and process upgrades to minimize scrap and improve quality.
• Support cross-functional teams including maintenance and marketing to ensure product quality.
