Job summary

Custom Processing Services Inc. (Reading Campus) is seeking a Building 3 Process Engineer to analyze, design, and optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and safety in a cGMP environment.

You will work with production, quality assurance, and maintenance to support plant goals. The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, a deg in chemical/ mechanical/ industrial engineering, and strong skills in process design, data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing plans and meet monthly revenue targets.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards and cGMP.
• Prepare batch records and maintain templates for commercial products.
• Develop and implement new or modified production processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for productivity, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Lead or participate in root cause analyses and corrective actions for process deviations.
• Monitor process parameters, track performance, and report to plant leadership.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment.
