Akkodis is seeking a Process Engineer for a full-time role in West Point, MS, supporting a new production program for autonomous vehicle technology. You will help build processes, drive efficiency, and make a direct impact on a high-visibility manufacturing initiative.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering background with 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering, strong validation and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across

• Strong validation, documentation, and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes, productivity, tooling, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across teams.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams.
• Support new product introductions, process development, and CI initiatives.
• Help establish a new manufacturing line from the ground up.
• Produce components for autonomous trucks.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Process Engineer for a full-time position with our client located in West Point, MS. We are seeking a Process Engineer that can assist our client with launching a new production program supporting the future of autonomous vehicle technology. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building processes, driving efficiency, and making a direct impact on a high-visibility manufacturing program.

Salary Range: $90,000/year to $100,000/year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Process Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Experience improving processes, productivity, tooling, and manufacturing operations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams
• Experience supporting new product introductions, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Opportunity to help establish a new manufacturing line from the ground up
• Components produced will be used on autonomous trucks

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering experience
• Strong understanding of validation processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
