Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for a client in the Aurora, OH area. This on-site direct hire position with a pay range of $70K annually to $90K annually depending on education, experience and location.

The successful candidate will prepare their work product for design review and for contributing to design review of others' work. All aspects of the product life cycle are included in the position’s responsibilities, such as specification, component selection, mechanical design,

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of experience required; PE/ Engineer-in-Training a plus.
• Exposure to 3-D CAD (SolidEdge preferred) and basic electrical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work products for design review and contribute to design reviews of others.
• Involve in all aspects of the product life cycle: specification, component selection, mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing engineering, QA/QC.

Job description

Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for a client in the Aurora, OH area. This is an oniste direct hire position with a pay range of $70K annually to $90K annually depending on education, experience and location. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing their work product for design review and for contributing to design review of others' work. All aspects of the product life cycle are included in the position’s responsibilities, such as specification, component selection, mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing engineering, and QA/QC of the product.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Engineer-in-Training or Licensed Professional Engineer status a plus
• 5 years minimum experience.
• Similar tools/technology exposure as Senior Mechanical Engineer
• Experience with 3-D CAD tools (SolidEdge preferred)
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits
• Hands on experience with programming languages and writing simple programs
• Solid understanding or experience with metal forming operations
• Course work or experience with electromechanical design
• Exposure to 3-D printing, mold engineering and other additive processes
