Process Engineer (remote)

Seeking a remote Process Engineer with C&Q experience, biocognitive experience, and/or design experience in a pharmaceutical setting. Engineers may design, commission, and optimize systems while also considering user experience and cognitive processes. The role involves ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing, focusing on both technical performance and user interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, develop, and improve processes, including stream processing, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform C&Q (Commissioning & Qualification) for processing equipment and systems, including commissioning and qualification to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Apply principles of biocognitive design to optimize the user experience of processing equipment and systems, considering human factors and cognitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Maintain process documentation and reports for all aspects of the processing workflow.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including process development, manufacturing, facilities, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
