Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Concord, NH is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and apply thermal spray coatings for protection against heat, wear and corrosion.

You will work at the intersection of science and manufacturing, translating test results into scalable processes and product improvements. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, hands-on industrial experience, and the ability to manage projects and collaborate with customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial, automotive or laboratory environments.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage tasks.
  • Familiarity with thermal spray technologies preferred.
  • Basic programming (Python, MATLAB or C) and CAD tooling (SolidWorks or Inventor) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in research and application of thermal spray coatings for thermal, wear and corrosion protection.

  • Operate thermal spray equipment and design/modify tooling and fixturing for new and improved processes.

  • Collaborate with customers and teams while contributing to productivity improvements using Lean and Six Sigma.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs. and extended standing or sitting
