Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on analyzing production processes to identify waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

You will support production and maintenance on daily issues and lead new equipment installations. The position blends office work with hands-on on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial process environments.
  • Analytical data-driven process improvement, troubleshooting on the plant floor.
  • Proficient with Minitab and AutoCAD; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production processes to identify waste, reduce cycle times, and improve OEE.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve daily issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Blend office work with production floor responsibilities.
  • Develop process routings, SOPs and work instructions for new and existing products.
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports on process performance metrics.
  • Serve as technical lead for installation and startup of new equipment.
  • Lead productivity projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiar with production floor processes and work on new equipment installation.

  • Develop manufacturingroutings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions fornew and existing products

  • Serve as the primarytechnical lead for the installation and startup of new equipment
  • Lead productivityimprovement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • You will be familiar withthe production floor, processes, and work on new equipment installation

  • You should be proficientin Microsoft Office Suite, statistical analytical software (Minitab), andAutoCAD
  • Experience managingmid-size capital projects from design through execution
