Micropore Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to support existing processes and to develop and implement new processes, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You will collaborate across product development, quality, and operations in a lean, fast-paced environment at our Elkton facility.

The role emphasizes experimentation, process optimization, equipment qualification, and data-driven decision making to increase throughput and reduce waste while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Formación

• Citizen or permanent resident (green card) of the United States.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience supporting industrial processes.
• Solid understanding of process engineering and development.
• Experience with process flow charts and visualization.
• Experience installing or modifying and qualifying production or QC testing equipment.
• Solid statistical knowledge and use of software (Stat-Ease, Minitab).
• MS Project or equivalent software experience.

Responsabilidades

• Process methodology and equipment.
• Design and execute experiments in support of process development and continuous improvement.
• Support and/or lead capital expansion projects.
• Support plant expansion by running and reporting on validation runs.
• Increase throughput and decrease waste for targeted processes.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and outside parties to support process needs.
• Track and document process metrics.
• Debug process upsets; provide and maintain process work instructions.
• Apply safety, environmental, and energy best practices during projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Head of Engineering.
