Job summary

BioSAFE Engineering, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to manage engineering design projects, including design oversight, drafting reviews, and BOM validation. The role involves coordinating with production and engineering teams, communicating schedules, and traveling locally and overnight as needed.

The candidate should have a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and experience with CAD tools. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• General office experience is a plus.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, planning, and overseeing construction of equipment to meet performance specs.
• Participate in design/drawing review and approval process.
• Prepare project schedules and communicate timelines.
• Perform calculations for pumping, piping, thermal transfer, and fluids.
• Interact with customers on engineering design questions.
• Draft and revise piping and mechanical details; ensure shop drawings.
• Review bills of materials for each job and liaise with Production Manager.
• Work with production and engineering to improve designs for efficiency and reliability.
