Job description

This role supports a Mobility and Fleet team focused on B2B fleet management. The Fleet Business Analyst helps coordinate operational processes across the entire vehicle lifecycle, from ordering and delivery to registration, maintenance, accident claims, and remarketing.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong process improvement, documentation, data management, and coordination skills. The team is looking for someone with a professional office background who can identify opportunities to improve processes, maintain accurate records, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and support efficient business operations.

Fleet management experience is not required. Candidates with business, operations, process improvement, quality, or call center experience may be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations & Process Coordination
  • Support day-to-day operational processes for B2B fleet management.
  • Coordinate vehicle ordering, delivery, and order entry within internal systems.
  • Assist customers with vehicle registrations, registration renewals, and vehicle state changes.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs with external vendors and service providers.
  • Support accident claims and vehicle-related issue resolution.
  • Partner with internal teams, including marketing, to coordinate fleet-related activities.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and help resolve operational issues.
Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Facilitate business processes and coordinate activities across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and process quality.
  • Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
  • Support process consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate information across internal systems.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze operational data to support business decisions.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage data, track processes, and support reporting.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated, hands‑on process improvement experience, including specific examples of improving workflows or operational processes in a large enterprise or Fortune 500 office environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to organize, manage, and analyze data.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with experience creating or maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, including the ability to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities.
  • Interest in a long-term opportunity with the potential to grow within the organization.
Preferred Backgrounds:

Candidates may be a strong fit if they have experience in

  • Business operations or business process coordination.
  • Process improvement, continuous improvement, or quality assurance.
  • Call center operations, particularly roles involving process quality, workflow improvements, or operational support.
  • Project coordination or business analysis.
  • Large corporate or enterprise office environments.
  • 1–3 years of professional office experience in a business, operations, process improvement, quality, or similar environment.

Recent business graduates with relevant internship, project, or process improvement experience may also be worth considering if they meet the position's requirements.

Additional Hiring Guidance:
  • Fleet management experience is not required. The team is prioritizing transferable business and process improvement skills over industry‑specific knowledge.
  • Prioritize candidates who can explain tangible process improvements they have made, rather than candidates whose experience consists primarily of routine data entry or administrative tasks.
  • Candidates should demonstrate stability and a genuine interest in building a long‑term career. Frequent job changes or a history of short‑term temporary assignments without a clear progression may be concerns.
  • Candidates whose experience is primarily dealership‑based may be a weaker fit for this corporate office role.
  • Call center experience can be valuable when it includes process improvement, quality, documentation, or operational responsibilities.
Education & Experience:
  • Four‑year degree required; a business‑related degree is preferred.
  • Target experience level: 1–3 years.
  • Fleet industry experience is not necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a professional, process‑oriented individual who has worked in a structured corporate office environment and understands how to improve workflows, document procedures, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage operational data. They are comfortable working in Excel, can provide concrete examples of process improvements they have made, and want an opportunity to grow into a long‑term position.
