Job summary

Primient in Lafayette, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician, Process Controls to support plant instrumentation and electrical systems. You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot switchgear and motor controls, and perform preventive maintenance in a safety‑conscious, fast‑paced environment.

The role requires strong instrumentation knowledge, experience with HART, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams. Overtime and shift work may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of industrial experience in craft or a tech school path.
• Experience with plant instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature, pH) including calibration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and calibrate process instrumentation and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot 460V 3-phase electrical switchgear and motor control circuits.
• Maintain and calibrate process analyzers including continuous emissions monitors.
• Interface with CMMS to review and create work orders and manage parts.
• Follow SOPs/PM task instructions and perform preventive maintenance.
