Job summary

Vantage Consulting seeks a PCS7 Process Controls Engineer to design and program Siemens PCS 7 systems from scratch, with hands-on field support and direct customer interaction.

The ideal candidate will program, test, and commission PCS 7 projects, develop control logic, graphics, alarms, sequences, and interlocks, and travel ~20% to customer sites while supporting FAT/SAT and startup activities.

Qualifications

Salary: Up to $120,000

Travel: 20%

We are seeking a PCS7 Process Controls Engineer with hands-on experience designing and programming Siemens PCS 7 systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure Siemens PCS 7 control systems.
• Develop control logic, graphics, alarms, sequences, and interlocks.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Travel approximately 20% to customer sites.
• Work directly with customers and plant personnel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of process controls/automation experience.
• Ability to program systems from scratch.
• Experience with commissioning and startup.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work directly with customers.
• LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related process-industry experience preferred.

Ideal candidate: A hands-on controls engineer who can independently program PCS 7, troubleshoot in the field, support commissioning activities, and confidently represent the company with customers.
