Job summary

Automationtechies, a 100% employee‑owned ESOP and one of the nation’s leading system integrators with more than 40 years of experience, is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer with 2–5+ years of Siemens PCS 7 experience to design, program, test, and startup industrial automation and process control systems.

You’ll work on DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and directly supporting customers from Boise, Idaho.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Controls, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of Siemens PCS 7 experience.
• Experience with CFC/SFC programming, WinCC, PROFIBUS/PROFINET, and redundant controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

What We’re Looking For

Preferred: Experience with industrial networking, virtualization, SIMATIC PDM/BATCH, functional safety, controller migrations, or process industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, power, water/wastewater, oil & gas, or semiconductor.
